Havalina Skate Co is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) run out of their home in East Los Angeles by husband and wife team, Alex & Kelly Hernandez. Their mission is to make skateboarding equitable for all regardless of peoples zip codes. They focus their efforts where their hearts live, in Boyle Heights and East Los Angeles; the communities that loved and raised them. Alex and Kelly’s motto is to serve, celebrate, cheer, teach, strengthen, engage, build and love COMMUNITY THROUGH SKATEBOARDING.
In kind donations needed:
Your gift will be donated to a person in need who makes a request to Havalina Skate or one of our partners.
All of 2021 we hosted skate gear giveaways at various locations around Los Angeles county. Events were announced on our website, Instagram and Facebook.
In 2022 we will host donation drives in support of #The213Project.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
Our 2021 goal was to give 1,000 skateboards to the underserved communities of L.A. county.
We exceeded our goal by giving away 1,048 skateboards by 12/19/2021. Thank you LA for your support in making our goal a reality.
